A small sample ...
Hello!
All images and so is on the way but things take a little time and we both have been super busy at work.
I'll give you a little teaser of the invitation anyway. Our invitation was in two parts with the information. One part was the weight of sheets in special format that contains all the details about the wedding guests who needed to know. The second part, which lay in the folded sheet was a "photo strip" with all important information, location, time and date.
Photo Strip was printed on a thick glossary paper and was equipped with a magnet so guests could easily bring up the strip on the refrigerator. A fun and innovative idea, we hope our guests smiled a little bit of love, warmth every time they went to the fridge and saw us ... ![]()
Here's how it looked in which case the photo strip in digital format (with some changes of names and addresses).
Post which is about when we took these pictures can be found HERE.
The masks are hand made in Venice and purchased on the pistil .
See you soon.

Wedding Buffet
Hi all happy!
If you read the blog before you know you guaranteed that we had a buffet at our wedding. Practical, smooth, good and perfect as there was everything from vegetarian to meat freaks among the guests.
Our little family is over fond of good cheeses and småplock, which made it even more natural to drive on the buffet variety. I spent much time in choosing what we would have on the buffet when I have a tendency to be a bit picky to me
. Together with Tomas on Mipiace in Sickla / Huddinge, we arrived at the menu below:
Insalata di Mozzarella
- Mozzarella Salad (tomato, cheese, basil, olive oil)
Insalata di pasta al pesto
- Vegetarian pasta salad with pesto and grilled vegetables
Insalata di mare
- Salad with marinated seafood and vegetables
Antipasti
- Galloni prosciutto with melon, mortadella, salami (pepper, fennel), and turkey.
Carpaccio di bresaola con rucola e parmigiano
- Air-dried beef with arugula, olive oil, parmesan and lemon
Formaggi Misti
- Cheese board with three kinds of cheese, Brie de maux, cambert, blue mold on the goat.
Contorni
- Olives, sundried tomatoes, pickled artichokes.
Pane e grissini
- Bread and grissini

Thanks for good service, good food and patience Tomas! ( Mipiace )

Dinner at the restaurant, the Port Authority.
Hello!
Oh what days are fast, the wedding is really just around the corner. Much to be in, I politely tell ![]()
When we were visiting my grandmother in Borgholm so we took the opportunity to go out and eat at the Harbour Office, which is down in the outer harbor. It was a bit of a family dinner where both maternal grandmother, mother, M and L was cozy and very good.
Harbour office has not been around that long, believe it is the third year they are open. The service is impeccable and the food is much better than many other places in Borgholm. Becomes easy as vacation areas, people eat just for those needs, and when supply is limited so take advantage of the restaurants there.
We are pleased that there is a really good place to eat in Borgholm anyway ![]()
Probably this is the best prospect in the entire Borgholm, if you are visiting, go there and eat.
We ate that night;
A starter
- Oysters
- SOS
- Hummertortellini
For main course:
- Surf & Turf
- Herring on sjömansvis
- Wendy Warg fish stew
- Rack of lamb

Have a wonderful day!

Breakfast in the country!
Good morning!
After a good night's sleep and some recovery in the country so it was breakfast on the agenda. We had with us some "leftovers" from the race so I had to make a simple but good breakfast! Foolish to throw away food, or what do you think?
Think it can be quite nice to sit outside on the patio and eating for over an hour to read all the morning papers. Would never sit and read at the kitchen table at home, but in the country, then it is another ![]()
This morning it was:
- Caviar and äggmacka
- Fruit salad in three different melons.
- Cheese and roast turkey sandwich.

What do you eat for breakfast in the summer?

Dinner at the steamboat dock in Grisslehamn.
When we were in Grisslehamn, we wanted to celebrate the one month left until we're getting married. Every day there is a reason to celebrate, but this time was a little something extra. <3
Soon we will become husband and wife, baby!
We had booked a table at the newly opened site in Grisslehamn named steamboat dock. Steamboat pier is an island site with a good menu and the world's best location. When we got to the place we got our table immediately, one of the owners was our waiter for the evening. Think it is very nice to talk to people who are passionate about food and drink, even better if they do business of it:)
Evening in honor of us:
- Moules Marinieres a starter.
- Alex: Archipelago burgers on cod with aioli.
- Maxime: Caesar salad with shrimp.
- Dessert: Crema Catalana.
- In the glass: pink bubble.
We were very pleased with both food and service, did you happen to pass by car or boat, I think really you should go there and eat! A plus was that most were "home cooked", in other words, very little processed foods.

Dinner at home with dad in Grisslehamn.
Since there was Gotland last week so we went directly up to Grisslehamn from Vaxholm where the boat lay, and violence visited Dad. Sometimes it's very nice to pick up the phone, warning that it will and then come up to a set table!
We were very tired because your sleep was easily calculated when we were sailing, the recipe to sleep well that night were:
- 2 glasses of wine
- A barbecue diluted with lamb sausage and vegetables.
- A wonderful salad.
- Cheese board.
- A pastime games that Maxime solved in a minute. For me, it took until the morning after ![]()
We were also invited to a fabulous sauce for which we have not eaten before, promising to post the recipe as soon as we got hold of it.
