A sailing trip to Gotland?

Two weeks ago we were medbjudna of two friends to sail down to the island.
We began our voyage on Monday bound for Nynashamn, the plan was to spend the night there and sail across to the island of Gotland early on Tuesday morning.

It was not quite what we had in mind ....
Towards Nynäshamn so increases the wind properly and the instrument was never less than 12m / s, 15 in the villages, as the icing on the cake, we cruised into the wind. We chose to skip the Nynäs and go to Utö instead, after a hard sailing, we arrive Uto, tired as four zombies. A little fast, we would get some food and then see the weather.

After the weather report so broke everything, we would need to check all the way down to Gotland, and just in time for the journey home would turn the wind to the northwest and we would need to check back. Sailing time would be at least 65 hours round trip, we agreed that it was way too much because we had to be back yesterday. Kind of fun you have to weld film have on Gotland, or?

We decided to sail back to Vaxholm on Tuesday morning to gild the week at a different address than Gotland. But during the two days on the lake, we had great fun!

Sailing in the archipelago.

Good morning all early birds!

Is not it wonderful to vacation? :) Have you begun your holiday yet?
On Monday we were out on a wonderful sailing trip with J and L. We began our voyage in Åkersberga and go because of the shitty wind took us, we just a little east of Ljusterö. The plan was Nässlingen but it had to be natural harbor instead. Fantastic lot nicer, I promise!

Dinner was simple, grilled sausages with some vegetables and potato salad. Since the plan was the tavern as it had to be a little inproviserad dinner. After a good night's sleep so we headed skutat home. Wind pressure was much better home so I had to make some detours. In short, two wonderful days at the lake with a lot of swimming, laughing and sailing!
Thanks J and L!

Really hot!

Good news, Will obviously be VERY few days to come!
Sunday is a small middle day, maybe I should go out to the boat and start to fix it. Lidingö Runt is a month's quite accurate.
Will barely remember how to sail, feels like the ice has been in the seven-month almost.

Time to go and arrange some stuff and water the dog, what are you doing tonight?

A small sign of spring for me, this picture was taken two weeks before Easter last year. Keyed that it would go out in t-shirt this year?

Pleasant evening

Brief visit to the Boat Show "Boat Show".

Today after work, so I am fit and M to visit the boat show "everything for the lake." My plan was enough to M would get some inspiration for this with sailing and I would have to look around. The visit went very quickly, which is disappointing.

In Hall A, there were type 10 sailboats and some powerboats. B hall was cluttered with double as much small motorboats that it will fit in there, crowded and poor structure.
C Hall was divided between Erlandssons and the others in size. The same things everywhere, but in different booths.

allt for sjönallt för sjön

That said, nothing new at all! I contented myself with a hot dog and I think we were there off in under an hour.

Now the M in the kitchen and laws soup that smells wonderful. I hope she writes more on that later :)

Have a nice evening!

A winter visit to the boat

Me and little Stella was a bit eager to go out to Lidingö and look to the boat. You never know, it might have been blown away!
Was not good at all to go there, really want to get out to sea and surf on a pontoon into small ink ..
Feels like the ice will remain until Lidingö around in May, one who lives will see.

Luckily so low anyway the boat left and we took the opportunity to take some nice winter pictures.

Sure it looks nice out?

A little too small to be out and check in 17 knots.

Now I see the Count of Monte Cristo, a little inspiration projects I've covered since ;) By the way, one of our readers who sail?

Pleasant evening.
